Your goal in ShadowPlay is to fill and create the shadow target using the objects given to you. Free Play mode is a place where you can play with the objects you unlocked, creating your own shadows.

To start the game, select the ShadowPlay channel from the Wii Menu. Press at the title screen to bring up the Select Profile Menu.

If you are starting a new game, point at an empty slot indicated by the ? and press .


You can use either the Wii Remote or to navigate the keyboard. Press to select a letter, press to delete the last character entered. You can also point at the backspace icon with the Wii Remote and press to delete the last character entered.

When you are finished entering your profile name point at Done with the Wii Remote and press .

Back at the profile menu, point at your profile name with the Wii Remote and press to select your profile. Should you ever want to delete a profile, point at the profile you would like to delete with the Wii Remote and press . A confirmation menu will appear to confirm your choice.


Selecting your profile will bring you to the Theme Select screen.

‘???’ indicates that you haven’t unlocked this theme or puzzle yet. Initially Training and Free Play will be your only available options.

In order to progress through the game, select Training and complete the series of Training Exercises within the theme.
