Another useful device is the Scanner. To use it, press when you are on a street or in a building.

 

 

The Scanner shows interesting objects by making them sparkle. It could be an important piece of evidence, an object that you need, or Hint Coins that allow you to open puzzle hints.

 

To collect the object or Hint Coin, move your cursor to the sparkling object, and press while the Scanner is on.
