The Parental Controls feature is provided for parents and legal guardians to restrict minors from using and downloading particular content. Parents and legal guardians should use the following procedures to restrict the use or download of Add-On Content and of certain user-generated content.

Note: Depending on the version of your Wii Menu, you may see items with different names shown on-screen.

1. Select Wii Options from the Wii Menu. The main Wii Options menu will be shown.
   
2. Select Wii Settings → Parental Controls → Other Settings. The Parental Controls settings will be shown.
   
3. To restrict Add-On Content, select Restrict for Use of Wii Points and certain credit card purchases.
   
4. To restrict Share Aquarium, select Restrict for Limited online use of Wii Message Board and access to certain user-generated content.
