With a lure in the water you will need to reel in the line, first to attract fish and then to pull in a fish once it bites.

• Motion Controls: move the Nunchuk in a circular reeling motion. The faster the movement, the faster the reeling.
• Standard Controls: hold for slow reeling, for medium reeling, or + for fast reeling.

Moderate reeling speeds will produce the best action on the lure and do the best job attracting fish.

In addition to steady reeling you can also jerk the fishing rod up to pull the lure in short, quick bursts when the line is taut.

• Motion Controls: swing the Wii Remote up jerk the fishing rod.
• Standard Controls: press to jerk the fishing rod.
