Parental controls are used to limit minors’ access to content that their parents or guardians may consider unsuitable. To limit access to the Wii Speak Channel, a parent or guardian should take the following steps.
Select the Wii Options icon from the Wii Menu. Select Wii SETTINGS, then PARENTAL CONTROLS.
When asked “Change Parental Controls?”, select YES. After entering your PIN, select OTHER SETTINGS.
When asked “Limit online use of Wii Message Board and access to certain user-generated content?”, select YES. Select CONFIRM and then SETTINGS COMPLETE.
The Wii Speak Channel cannot be accessed with these settings.
