Showing Photos

You can show photos saved on an SD Card or on your Wii Message Board to the people you are in a conversation with.

Showing a Photo
  1. In the Conversation Room or Lobby, select to go to the Photo Search Screen.
  2. Choose DIGITAL CAMERA/CELL PHONE or Wii MESSAGE BOARD. In this example, the first option will be used, but the procedure is the same if you select Wii MESSAGE BOARD.
  3. After selecting DIGITAL CAMERA/CELL PHONE, select VIEW to display the photos on your SD Card. Choose the photo you want to show your friends.
    You can use and to change the size of the photos and the number of photos displayed.
  4. Select SHOW THIS PHOTO to show the selected photo to all members of your conversation group.

    A percentage meter will indicate progress while the photo is transmitted. If you select QUIT or BACK on screen at this point, transmission will be cancelled. You can also select these buttons to stop showing a photo.

    Note: You can rotate photos 90 degrees by selecting . The photo will be shown to other users the way it is displayed on your screen. You can also use and to cycle through the photos.
Receiving a Photo

Once the photo has been received by the other members of your conversation group, it will be displayed in the Conversation Room and will not be viewable in the Lobby.

Notes:
Photos can only be shown to other users during conversations.
 
You can still speak to members of your conversation group while a photo is being transmitted.
 
Photos will be shown to members of your conversation group even if they’ve turned the mute function on.
 
It may take a little while for photos to reach the other members of your conversation group.
 
Photos shown by other members of your conversation group cannot be saved on the Wii Message Board or an SD Card.
